Judo was founded in 1974 by an Iranian trainer followed by a Syrian trainer
Abdo al Sayed afterwards a Korean trainer Tim then a Japanese trainer.
Many players such as Ibrahim Ashour, Nabil al Araifi, Abed al Latif al
Razihan, Ali Karam, Farid Khalil, Talal al Jasem and many others,
represented the team and the Qadsia club.
Then Ibrahim Ashour took care of the training in 1982 afterwards the trainer
Nabil al Araifi in 1986 then the late Adel al Najada in 1995 also Ali Karam
in 2000.
Regarding the managers of this game:
Bader al Anzi, Salem Ali, Houssein Hammoud, Bader al Shradwho is a currently
in the Judo federation, Khaled al Baz and Ahmad Ashknani.
Since the game was founded till now the club’s players became Judo
champions. The regional championships resumed its role after the liberation
were the club won the following:
- In 1991 they won the second place.
- In 1992 they won the second place.
- In 1993 they won the second place.
- In 1994 they won the second place.
- In 1995 they won the second place.
- In 1996 they won the second place.
- In 1997 they won the first place.
- In 1998 they won the third place.
- In 1999 they won the second place.
- In 2000 they won the second place.
Regarding the current Judo champions they are: Khaled al Ouraifi, Hamed al
Zaid, Ahmad Shabnan, Mashaal al Shaaybi and many others.
Concerning the current administrative staff they are:
The current manager Khaled al Baz and his assistant Ahmad Ashkanani, the two
trainers Nabil al Ouraifi and Ali Karam and the trainers’ assistant Talal
Jassem.
